The word geek is slang term originally used to describe accentric or non-mainstrem peoples, with differents connotations ranging from "an expert or anthusiast" to"a person heavily intersted in a hobby" ,With the general pejorativive meaning of a pecuilar or otherwise dislikble person,especially one who is percieved to be overy intellectyal.
Although often considered as a pejorative ,the term is also used self-referentally with out malic or as a source of prode. its meaning has evolved yo connect "some one who is interested in a subject (usually intellectual or complex)" for its own sake.
